Current Opportunities
  • Production Technician (£22-28k)

    Osprey are an innovation driven company, open applications are welcomed from anyone with a passion for engineering, business, making, electronics, tinkering, improving… get in touch with your skills and we can explore fit.

    Your role will be the assembly and production of Osprey sensors within our light manufacturing facility in Sheffield Park, East Sussex.

    • For those with no experience:
      • A willingness to learn and improve is all that is required.         
      • Full training will be provided.
      • Full salary apprenticeship schemes are available.
      • An interest and passion for engineering / making / lean manufacturing can make this the start of a career.

    • For those with experience:
      • Most of our work is precision mechanical and electronics, however we welcome experiences from all forms of production background.
      • We offer flexible work patterns that can fit to family life
      • Higher salaries available as responsibilities are adopted at MRP, ISO 9001, SOP level.

    Opportunity to develop into other engineering or business roles within Osprey if desired.

    All positions are available on Permanent Full Time, Part Time and Flexible terms.

  • EMEA Business Development Manager

    We are looking for a motivated member of our sales team to seek out and pursue sales opportunities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Being within a niche industry, you will be developing long-term relationships with customers including tier one contractors, consultants, infrastructure asset owners and specialist contractors. You will be involved in the region’s largest and most exciting infrastructure projects delivering first-of-a-kind monitoring solutions.

    Your Role:

    • Promote Osprey Measurement Systems products to stakeholders in civil construction, resources, and infrastructure asset management
    • Identify and pursue project and partnership opportunities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
    • Compile sales proposals for clients and projects.
    • Process and manage inbound sales enquiries and purchase orders.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Experience in technical sales within the construction or mining sectors.
    • Familiarity with geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Experience using CRM or ERP systems for quoting and maintaining prospects and leads
